An interesting project for this basement bar, Byrd’s design is inspired by the gothic poem “The Raven” by Edgar Allen Poe. We designed and created a collection of evocative bespoke artworks to reflect the drama of the interiors. With richly coloured teal walls above ground and reflective, polish bronze wall finishes beneath, the artwork journey begins with iridescent illusion paintings, leading to a carefully composed collage, with hundreds of hand-dyed feathers laid in alternating directions. More paintings with iridescent highlights and gold leaf embellishments, further reveal a 3D triptych with hand-carved and laser cut inlays. The journey concludes with the evocative unfurling of a hand embellished 3D ‘dot’ relief…all framed and installed by our excellent team!
