    CARLTON HOTEL, EDINBURGH

    A multi-layered 3D bas relief for the reception area of this prestigious hotel. Based on a street map of the old town district of Edinburgh, we provided the client with a series of rough concept sketches followed by a 3D render of the finished design. The relief incorporates a number of interlocking patterns, including Edinburgh tartan & Argyle to describe brown and green sites within the town, along with Celtic knot designs to highlight prominent landmarks. This complex jigsaw puzzle of pieces was constructed and finished on inter-locking panels, which slotted into place on site by our fitters. Measuring W7200 x H2350mm
