The Old Quay House, Fowey

Created for the boutique waterfront hotel overlooking the Fowey Estuary, this artwork scheme was developed to complement the property’s relaxed coastal character and elegant interiors. The commission included the curation and creation of artwork throughout the hotel, combining bespoke pieces with carefully selected works to establish a cohesive visual identity across the guest experience.

Drawing inspiration from Cornwall’s dramatic coastline, the collection reflects the colours, textures and atmosphere of the surrounding landscape. From curated artwork collections within selected guest bedrooms and feature gallery walls throughout the hotel, to standalone statement pieces for the restaurant and bar, each element was designed to strengthen the connection between the interiors and their unique waterside setting.

The completed scheme brings character, depth and a strong sense of place to the property, creating a layered visual narrative that enhances both the guest accommodation and public spaces while complementing the hotel’s contemporary coastal aesthetic.
