Old Course Hotel, St Andrews – Kohler Waters Spa

Artistic Licence was commissioned to create a bespoke collection of artwork for the refurbishment of the Kohler Waters Spa at the renowned Old Course Hotel. Situated on the rugged Fife coastline and overlooking the world-famous Old Course, the spa provides a tranquil retreat inspired by the restorative qualities of water and the surrounding landscape.

Working closely with the design team, we developed a series of artworks that draw inspiration from the natural beauty of St Andrews, reflecting the movement of water, coastal textures and the subtle colours of sea and sky. The collection was created to complement the refurbished interiors, enhancing the sense of calm and wellbeing throughout the guest experience.

The resulting scheme brings a strong connection to place, creating moments of visual interest while supporting the spa’s relaxing and restorative environment.
