An interesting project for the reception area of this luxury residential development in Westminster, inspired by the footprint of the original building complex, Milbank Prison. Our bespoke designs reference the basic shape of the prison layout, with elevated spiralling facets to reflect the nature of a pine cone (-a common decorative feature on railings and buildings in the local area). The central hexagon has six adjoining pentagons; within each of the pentagon’s there is a faceted projecting shape with an off-centred peak and un-equal sides, enabling us to rotate the shapes one to another to create a dynamic spiral effect (seen in a pine cone). The pentagons are linked together by a large central hexagon with faceted edges formed in a elevating spiral, with a small central hexagon forming the centre point. Sculpted and cast in white resin, painted and embellish with 24ct gold leaf. Each measuring 600mm sq.
